PROJECT MANAGER
After completing degrees in both Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, I joined a Portugal based consulting company specialized in renewable energy development of both wind and solar projects. During this time I was involved with the development of a portfolio of 280MW of Wind and five 75MW solar projects, and participated in Round 3 of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REI4P).
I later went on to work as a Sales engineer for ENERCON Wind Energy South Africa and completed training in Bremen and Aurich, north Germany. While the market remained inactive as a result of delays in REI4P bidding rounds, I started Integrated Wind Power and went back into project development consulting for a west coast 140MW wind energy project.
With a passion for efficient and effective project development, I am an aspiring Getting Things Done® practitioner, having attended Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 GTD® courses. When not managing renewable energy projects, you’ll find me engaged in playing Irish and Scottish folk music on my Henderson bagpipes or Taylor guitar, and spending time with my family.
